Shweshwe Bag with Leather Straps

A beautiful Shweshwe bag with genuine leather straps and a waterproof interior. Made by our qualified fashion designer, Sabelo Bill, and his team of Trainee seamstresses at the Seven Fountains Sewing Class set up by Lalibela Game Reserve. Sabelo was previously employed by Ackerman’s at their Cape Town head-office but has returned to Grahamstown to “give back” to our community. This stylish bag is great for the beach or shopping adventure.

We’ve done our best to offer choice from the beautiful shweshwe patterns avaialble. These are the main designs and colours used in our Sewing Skills Programme. Given supply constraints we’ve sometimes used the “closest match” and you may receive a slightly different shweshwe pattern. We’re confident you’ll love it anyway.
